A volte nella vita capita di perdere il proprio treno, altre che il treno ti passi a prendere a casa improvvisamente, inaspettatamente e indipendentemente dalla tua volontà. Accadde così che un tale Veltroni Walter, brillantissimo sindaco di Roma nonché stimato uomo di cultura, venga designato come l’unico leader possibile del nascituro Partito Democratico e, probabilmente, come prossimo candidato premier del centro-sinistra. A volte la vita è così, ti offre la grande occasione quasi per caso. Accadde così che dopo mesi di tribolati lavori il nuovo soggetto politico stentasse a decollare, in crisi di consenso e credibilità.
